New York just isn't complete until we can offer tourists the ability to cruise around in a tour bus that also doubles as a float. The Times reports:Unlike Boston, Philadelphia, London and dozens of other cities around the world, New York City does not offer tourists the pleasure of paying around $25 to cruise the streets in an amphibious bus, known as a duck, that ends its journey by splashing into the nearest body of water.
I heard a stat recently that 1 out of 4 Americans have visited New York since 9/11, an amazing number if true. Does it seem like they were lamenting that we don't have an amiphibious bus? After 40 days and 40 nights of rain, I'm thinking it's New Yorkers who need them to navigate the city's streets not the waterways.
